Item up for sale is a remarkable hardback book with a full title of "What Them Befell: The Ridgelys of Delaware & Their Circle in Colonial & Federal Times: Letters 1751-1890". This book was published in 1949 by The Anthoensen Press and edited by Mabel Lloyd Ridgely. Book is signed by the editor on a pre foreward page with 427 numbered pages. Beyond the numbered pages is an impressive collection of black and white photos related to the people and places covered in the book. Cover and spine are in excellent condition showing only light wear appropriate to age. Book measures 10-1/8" top to bottom by 7-4/8" wide by 1-7/8" in depth.
