A very scarce Midcentury, circa 1955 Marin County Home Sales Brochure for a new subdivision about to be built in Marinwood Hills, a beautiful pastural location just minutes north of San Francisco, published by the original sales office.
This brochure advertises the five home styles offered in the original Marinwood Hills subdivision, featuring a drawing and small architectural blueprint for each style. An historic brochure showing a choice of beautifully appointed suburban single story ranch style homes on “unexcelled view lots.” These homes were built starting around 1955. Nestled in the hills above Lucas Valley and Las Gallinas, many of these homes are still extant today.
Illustrated textured paper brochure, side staple bound, 10.5” x 5.5”, 8 pages (including covers). VERY GOOD Condition: a vertical crease lightly affecting all the inner pages, and a touch of age toning, otherwise very bright, clean and unmarked, a remarkably well preserved copy of this elusive sales brochure. I could not find any original material relating to these homes in Marinwood Hills.
