Selheimer, Philadelphia. First edition. 12mo. in three-quarter leather over marbled paper covered boards; marbled endpapers; 132 pp. with contents at rear. Very scarce autobiographical account of a Civil War Union soldier who was captured and spent time at Libby, Andersonville and Florence Confederate prisons. Internally tight and clean, , scuffing and peeling to the exterior extremities and boards. We speculate that this is a contemporary rebind as there is no lettering on the binding.
