Circa 1933 Pre-WWII Paper; "Declaration by Arthur Garfield Hays on the Reichstag Fire Trial - Addressed to the Leipzig Trial Court - NYC November 27, 1933".   Issued by: National Committee to Aid Victims of German Fascism.  Early, Anti-Nazi address by attorney Hays is a plea to the German court to acquit Communists who were arrested for a fire they reputedly did not commit.  Hays states his suspicion that the fire was committed by Nazi Fascists to falsely blame, arrest and hang the Communists.  He offers to defend the arrested men.  Four printed pages and the size is about 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".  Condition: light soiling, toning, fold lines, edge wear and edge tears.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions welcome!
