    Description

Oklahoma Indian Land Titles Annotated.  By W.E. Semple.  Red cloth hardcover, pub. 1952, 1032 pages, including the 1959 Pocket Supplement in the back of the book.  Published by Thomas Law Book Company of St. Louis.  Ex-library of the Phillips Petroleum Company Legal Department.  Binding tight but wear at corners and top and bottom of spine, many paper clips throughout the book which have left some light rust spots on pages.  "Dealing with the ordinary title questions that arise in all Indian Tribes in Oklahoma, including the Tribes allotted under the General Allotment Act, the Osages, and the Five Civilized Tribes; setting out the allotment agreements pursuant to which lands were allotted, the basic Congressional enactments imposing restrictions on alienation, and giving liberal citations where statutes have been construed by the state and federal courts."  Extremely rare copy of an important book on Native American law.  Very heavy, shipping weight over 4 pounds.  Due to scarcity and value I am going to ship via Priority Mail with insurance coverage.
