According to usps.com, "Delivery confirmation only provides you with a confirmation of delivery date and time once the article has been delivered and scanned at the post office of the addressee - it does not provide for any tracking through the mail stream."
FedEx Shipping: We use FedEx home delivery (unless it is going to a business) which does provide a tracking number.
