    This is the complete setup you'll need to to transfer files from your miniDV video camera to a modern Mac (thunderbolt 3) - Firewire 800 IEEE 1394 Cable (plugs into your miniDV camera output) + Firewire to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter + Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) Adapter plugs into your iMac or MacBook Pro (2017 or newer).
    I bought the two adapters and successfully transferred all my videos (I also bought LifeFlix DV Importer, which was a great tool but not included in this sale) and I am now reselling them as a package. You merely connect the cables and adapters as shown in photo #2 and plug it into your camera.
    You get the 6 ft Firewire cable and the two Apple adapters, as well as the original adapter boxes. Shipped 2-day USPS for use over the weekend.
