Description

Vintage Chinese Lidded Jar/Ginger Jar.   A nice jar with mountainside, water, trees, house, women, children, bird on woman's hand, bird in a cage, child holding a bird cage, and flowers. The jar is approx 10" in height with lid, approx 7-3/4" without lid, approx 2" across top rim, approx 7-1/4" depth, approx 3" across bottom, approx 4" wide at widest point.  There are some signs of age/use/wear.  There is some crazing, mostly noticeable on the lid. There are a few imperfections in the pottery, just the way it was made.  Some areas are not perfectly straight or rounded.  The lid has a stress line near the rim.  A few brown age spots. There are a few air bubble marks.  Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas.  Some wear where the lid and jar meet.  Some wear on the bottom rim.  All are shown in pictures.  The inside of jar is quite clean.  A nice vintage pottery lidded jar with green lid, yellowish orange flowers, a nice oriental scene with women and children, green flowers, gold accents and raised white and yellow accents.  Sold as is.
