Very scarce and early annotated english translation of the Prema Sagara ("Ocean of Love"), which  was one of the first modern Hindi books that was typeset and published, composed between 1804 and 1810, and published in 1810, and was originally translated by Lallu Lal, and based on the story of the tenth book of the Bhagavata Purana, the legend of Krishna
. Bound in the publisher's red cloth covered boards. Contents lightly toned. Previous owner's pencil gift inscription to the front flyleaf. The boards are a bit worn.
