    Description

A book published for the dedication of the Confederate Museum and Jefferson Davis Monument in Richmond, Virginia by the Confederate Memorial Library Society.  The museum was recently purchased and renamed to the American Civil War Museum in Richmond.
One of only three known to exist, the other two are in the libraries of Harvard and Cornell.  The full digitized book from the Harvard collection can be browsed on the Hathi Trust site.
A truly rare, almost unique book that could be a centerpiece to any Civil War collection.
There is a handwritten dedication in the book as follows:
"In appreciation to Mr. Bradford from the Confederate Memorial Literary Society, Richmond, Va.
    Confederate Museum
