EXQUISITE Vintage 20th C Chinese Red Oxblood Glazed Meiping Form Vase Lamp WORKS

Up for sale is this EXQUISITE, large, vintage Chinese red oxblood / iron red glazed meiping form vase which was converted into a lamp.
I was told the vase dates to around the mid 20th C, circa 1950s, perhaps late Republic period.
Really a gorgeous piece, tall and elegant with slender neck and delicate, flat top, lip. The curves are beautiful and the vase is even in form.
Besides having been drilled and turned into a lamp, the large vase is in excellent condition with just very minimal / light surface wear / scratches.
The lamp parts work and have been tested. There’s a nice on / off toggle switch that comes on the cord for easy shutting off and turning on.
Comes mounted on a wooden carved base. Sold as is, as shown - a beautiful vase lamp that displays nicely from all angles.
Just the vase itself measures 20” inches tall and 7.75” inches wide (50.8 cm, 19.7 cm). With the base and top lamp parts, the entire piece measures about 24.25” inches tall and 7.75” inches wide (61.6 cm, 19.7 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece and lamp to use, fine addition to a Chinese porcelain collection, or a great gift!
