The vintage Patterns & floral designs are done in gold,red and blue
on a white glazed Jar.
The numerous pattern panels & two floral panels
wrap around the entire jar.
There are gold gilt moriage, and gold gilt accents throughout.
Moriage refers to a raised decoration used in
Chinese and Japanese pottery.
The raised decoration is formed by applying
lines of slip on to the pottery surface.
The pottery is then glazed over leaving relief.
The relief can be seen and felt.
