    Description

    Beautiful hand painted Chinese oxblood Sang de Boeuf ceramic lidded Ginger Jar. Crafted with a glossy glazed finish, It has some white accents in a raised leaf pattern and some small areas of green on the lid. Since there are no markings I am not sure of the age of this item but it appears it could be vintage.
    Comes from a smoke free home.
    Jar is in over all great pre-owned condition...no cracks or chips. There is crazing throughout but not noticeable unless you are looking at it up close.
    Jar measures 10.75" high (with lid) and is 5.75" in diameter at the widest point.  Opening is 3.5" in diameter. It it quite heavy, weighs 2.86 lb. prior to packing.
