Chinese Reticulated 8" Porcelain Vase - Pink & Yellow Roses - Late 20th Century
Being offered is a late 20th Century Chinese Porcelain cabinet vase featuring flowering pink and yellow roses on a very intricately cut reticulated body. The reticulated baluster shape is highlighted at the rim with gold as well as the base. The hand painted roses is in relief with luster green leaves having gold highlights. All around this relief decoration there is reticulated hand cutting that starts out small near the top of the neck and gradually becomes larger, then reducing in size again towards the bottom of the vase. The vase possesses magnificent first quality workmanship that deserves a place in any collection of Chinese porcelain. The vase is not marked. There is an attached paper label showing the original price paid on the bottom.

Measurements
: The vase stands approximately 8 inches in height and measures approximately 4 inches in diameter wide just below the shoulders. The rim measures approximately 2.75 inches across in diameter and the base 2.5 inches across in diameter. The vase weighs approximately 7.4 ounces. All measurements are approximate, but close.
Condition
: We carefully examined this item. NO Chips, Nicks, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. There is one area around an end leaf that has what appears to be very faint and fine hairlines in the reticulated area (see last two photographs). The leaf itself has one hairline. None are easy to see and no pieces appear missing. The hairlines could also be surface crazing of the glaze. We mention this for accuracy. The vase is in excellent condition otherwise and free of any other issues. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details.
