There is a damp stain THROUGHOUT the pages, mostly confined to the bottom part of each page, but to varying degrees, ranging from faint to moderate. Otherwise, as with all string bound older books, the binding is generally intact but needs to be carefully handled. Other than the damp staining as mentioned, the internal pages are quite nice. ABUNDANTLY ILLUSTRATED THROUGHOUT. A very cool FIRST EDITION book here to add to your collection!
