    Description - An antique cased presentation Meerschaum figural pipe . The pipe with an amber mouthpiece , a
    carved sleeved hand holding the gold capped bowl , & two gold shank bands . One of the bands inscribed , Presented to William Carter by the Serg.t Majors & Sergts Detch mt Queensbays Liverpool on his Appointment as Quartermaster of the RegMT as a mark of esteem and regard January 1882  .
    Age - ca 1880 's
    Size - 6" long overall x 2 1/4" x 2" bowl
    Condition -
    The pipe has a  great old smoked patina / surface, with the only apology being the index finger tip is missing . The case with surface wear.
