Antique Takito Company Hand Painted Vase with Raised Etching of Dragon. Various shades of purple.
The markings on the bottom that are difficult to read are of the Takito Company.
The
Takito company
1880-1948, is mostly known as one of those specializing on the Lustre ware type of decoration originally developed by the Noritake company but pieces with moriage decoration in Moriage a'la Kyoto Satsuma on porcelain, are also common. Between 1891 to 1921 the products should be marked 'Nippon'. Marks later than 1945 usually comes with the addition of "Made in Occupied Japan. (See

Measurements: 6" tall x 3 3/4" wide
Condition: This vase is almost 100 years old. I don't see any cracks, chips, repairs, etc. On the bottom, you can see a line near the marking, but you can't feel it, so I think it's a crack in the glaze and nothing more.

Returns
I do not accept returns unless the items are damaged in shipping. Items damaged in shipping will need to go through the USPS claims process before I will accept the return and send you a shipping label. In accordance with USPS policy, you may need to take the item(s) and all packing/packaging material to the post office for inspection. Your patience is appreciated.
