Antique Celadon Green Glazed Jar - Yellow Clay - Flaws

Up for sale/auction is a very old (100 years plus) fine little antique celadon jar. I would date this to the late 19th century or early 1900s. It has a somewhat classic Arts and Crafts period look to its graceful handles and shape. Although it is most likely Asian, I feel that the old clay is similar to that used in the Americas during the same time period. There is no maker’s mark, so it may well be a “find” for experts in old Celadon.
This little cabinet pot is sold “as is” due to two flaws. Please refer to the photos as well as the condition description below.
Measurements:
The pot stands approximately 2.75” tall, with a bulbous shape.

Condition:
As mentioned, there are two flaws
.
The first is a very old small (3/16") rim chip underneath. This chip is stable, and may have even occurred during the firing process, as the clay is visibly aged. When displayed, this chip is not visible. It is smooth. There is also a clay-related flaw along the top rim that occurred during the firing process: you can see the inclusion of a small fragment of rock or other impurity in the clay that caused the area to crack slightly. This flaw is stable and there is no indication the pot will split or separate further, as it has not done so in the last 100 plus years. Amazingly, the graceful handles are in pristine condition. There is age-related
crazing
to the clay and glaze. All in all, this is still a fine example of antique celadon hand thrown pottery.

Please review all photos and descriptions of condition. Photos are part of the description. All measurements are approximate and done to the best of my ability. Ring size is measured on a standard mandrel. Weights are provided in grams and measured on a postal scale that is calibrated.

I do not accept returns, but will do my best with you to ensure you receive communication from me. If there is a problem, let’s work it out via eBay’s secure messaging system.
Payment:
I encourage you to contact me if you have an issue with paying in the given time period by eBay. If you cannot pay, I ask that you refrain from bidding. Think about how you buy online from other independent sellers on Etsy, Posh or other secondary selling markets. What condition are these pieces in:
These items are all vintage, antique (older than 50 years), or from a secondary contemporary marketplace. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues. Please review all photos prior to bidding.
I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents.
