This is just a great original piece. I just picked up a small collection of historical government books that I am offering this week.  Some are incredibly rare.  I wish they were all in better shape but because some of them are so rare and collectable I am still offering them because I think having any example of these volumes is better than having none.  This is one of those books that I am not really sure about.  In researching historical pricing in databases, I cannot find another example having sold in the last 100+ years.  There are no originals for sale on abebooks nor anywhere else I can find on the internet.  The only examples I can find are in institutions and university libraries.  The only examples I can find are reprints available everywhere.  Book is in good condition.  Original cloth cover shows fading and some minor issues.  Front cover is cracking at spine but still connected.  Original gold seal on the front cover is still visible.  Inside of the books is very strong with just some minor discoloration and spotting.  Strong binding.
