  • Condition: The metal dome has wear and some marks, otherwise there is normal usage wear. The original rubber feet are holding, but they are flattening out. The gear wheel and gear shaft with coupling have been thoroughly cleaned of all the 60 year old plus gear grease, and then repacked with new all purpose gear grease. Now it turns and presses very smoothly. The metal juicing parts are very clean.

    For Buy it Now is a "Tilt Top" Juice-O-Mat, model NJ-848, made in the U.S.A. by Rival Manufacturing, and from the 1950s. This is one of those impressive appliances from the 1950s that is made to last, and is very solid, infact it weighs over 5lb 11oz. The nice feature of the "tilt Top" juicer is that when tilting back there is easy access for placing and removing the orange half. I removed all the several decades old gear grease by soaking the parts in mineral spirits and using mainly I brass brush and SOS pads, when clean they were repacked with new all purpose gear grease. I made a glass of orange juice, and it now turns and presses very smoothly. This "Tilt Top" Juice-O-Mat will be very a useful and durable citrus juicer for any kitchen or home bar.
