    Description

The Mentor Glass and Glass Making by Esther Singleton. April 15, 1919 Serial No. 177 Vol. 7 Number 5.
The Mentor Association was started by William Moffat in 1912 and he intended it to be a sort of think tank to disperse information to stimulate learning.
The cover art shows the Arts and Crafts influence on this magazine. This issue covers historical glass design and manufacturing.
There are 6 loose photographs of various antique glass items and works of art along with articles about each.
Of particular interest is the statement inside the front cover, a kind of Arts and Crafts manifesto for those that create objects.
