KETTERING, ENGLAND FRIENDSHIP ALBUM. Kettering: 1906-1911. 6.75 x 5”, maroon leather binding gilt stamped “Album.” Binding loose but holding, paper restoration to front hinge, lower spine chipped. Good+. An album containing 14 original sketches/cartoons, 4 watercolor views, and 17 pages of handwritten poems and quotations, dated between 1906 and 1911. The owner of the album has written the first entry and initialed it  “E.E.P.” The majority of the entries are from Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, while three are from Manor Park, presumably in London. Names of some album contributors include: Ruby Sturgess, Sydney Payne, May Goss, J.E. Sturgess, Elsie E. Sturgess, C.E. Wright, Gertrude Grace Finley, C.E. Tyrrell, and Ivy S. Payne.
