1890 NJ GEOLOGIC REPORT 1st, IRON MINES, 305P,4 Foldouts,,2Huge Rear Color Maps
John Smock, state geologist, ANNUAL REPORT Of the  NEW JERSEY STATE GEOLOGIST 1890 Trenton; John Murphy, 1890. 305 pages, index. We've handled many 19th century New Jersey geology reports but this 1890 edition is by far the most detailed & in several ways-the most interesting. With text emphasis on the states iron mines of the era, artesian wells & 'water power' by region, etc. etc. With 4 foldout plates including 1 in color on limestone in Sussex, & 2 Huge color maps in a rear envelope--1 on the States many iron mines of 1890, & a 27" X 37" map on water shed areas. Both maps are pristine-rarely found as such, we've limited scans to keep them that way. The book is a tight clean VG+. Shipping with delivery tracking is .
