Sun's True Bearing of Azimuth Tables
by John Burwood RN.
This is a navigational reference for the Southern Hemisphere
as computed in intervals of 4 minutes.
The inscription on the inside cover reads H.L. Healey November 29, 1879
and SV Lady Cairns. The Lady Cairns was involved in a collision with
a German Vessel in the Irish Sea and was lost at sea in 1904 with all
souls aboard (22). A remarkable piece of Maritime History
The book is in relatively good condition given it's age and presumed use.
It is intact and bound tightly. The spine looks wrinkled but is in otherwise
good condition. Please see scans for condition.
